Expo & Event Intern (Fall Semester AND Winterim)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsible for assisting Event department staff on various projects as needed.  Intern will learn how to manage and operate ExpoCad, a popular tradeshow database system designed to effectively store and manage all trade show information including: floor plans, exhibitor information databases, and accounting tools.  Intern will also coordinate and execute details of events including: event planning sessions, day of event support, event week preparations, vendor communication, vendor registration, and managing event.  General administrative work is also expected.

This internship is for class-credit only.

Clean-Up Crewperson (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Candidate is responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial duties throughout the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex.  These would include, but not be limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing and waxing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Approximately three to six months related work experience in order to gain a full understanding of custodial operations.
  2. Interpersonal skills essential when interacting with Supervisor, Company staff, event staff, visitors and outside exhibitors.
  3. Physical abilities and endurance to lift and move equipment.

Ticket Seller (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a positive experience when purchasing tickets.  This experience is created by assisting guests with accurate event information and the purchase of tickets providing customer service with a smile and “can do” attitude.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Requires a level of general education normally acquired in high school in order to interact in a professional manner with patrons and employees.
  2. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously.
  3. Previous experience with computer systems and/or retail experience is preferred.
  4. Previous experience in cash handling and financial transactions preferred.

Concessions Crewperson (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsible for preparing and selling product in assigned concession stand area, greet customers, and process sales and money transactions in the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex and Resch Center.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education.
  2. Approximately three to six months previous food and beverage experience in order to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.
  3. Analytical skills needed in order to process cash.
  4. Interpersonal skills required in order to maintain positive customer relations with clients when gathering and exchanging information.

Set-Up Crewperson (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform set-up and tear down duties before and after events in the Complex such as: setting up tables, erecting hockey dashers, laying down the basketball floor, installing the ice rink, etc.

Due to the nature of the event business, hours of employment may include: evenings, weekends, holidays, and summer season.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate hand tools, and eye hand coordination to operate machinery.  Requires standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extensive periods of time.  Frequently handles and lifts, carries or pulls items weighing up to 100 pounds.  Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.  Must have a valid driver’s license.

Lambeau Field Operations (Part-time)

CLEANING SUPERVISOR:

General Summary: Responsibilities include facilitating during-game and post-game cleaning & recycling operations of Lambeau Field.  Employee will supervise part-time labor, temporary employees and volunteer groups for clean-ups, and be responsible for implementing and following facility emergency procedures, safety guidelines and company policies for patrons and employees.

PARKING ATTENDANT:

General Summary:  Responsibilities include, customer service, directing traffic, handling cash, implementing and following safety guidelines for patrons and employees.

Working conditions:  Frequent exposure to large crowds.  Works outside in the stadium/area-parking environment and is continually exposed to weather conditions and temperature extremes.

Ideally candidates should be able to work all home scheduled Lambeau events but we will consider other availability.  These positions include working evenings and weekends. These positions run from August to January. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Catering Staff (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsible for assisting with set-ups, clean-ups, and general catering facilitation at Backstage at the Meyer.  The catering staff serves as the primary frontline employee to our guests.  Greet guests, introduce himself/herself, and has a strong knowledge of beverage and food selections.  Ensures that high quality food product is delivered to guests in a professional and timely manner.  Requires the ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, cash handling, and the ability to interact well with the public and other staff members.

Candidates should be able to work a flexible, event-based schedule that will require working evenings and weekends.  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
