T-Shirt Security (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Security Manager, will serve as a resource to patrons and perform security-related activities to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and event personnel.  Employee will guard, patrol or monitor hallways, parking lots or other assigned areas to prevent infraction of rules.  He or she will also monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to maintain security of premises.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:  Knowledge of law enforcement and security practices normally acquired through participation in a protective services/law enforcement technical-college program.

Maintenance Helper (part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for general building and forklift maintenance, welding, minor electrical repair/hook-ups and repair of broken equipment throughout the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex, Shopko Hall, and the Resch Center.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Knowledge of maintenance at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
  2. Approximately one to three years related work experience necessary in order to gain a full understanding of electrical, heating, air conditioning, plumbing and boiler system repairs and maintenance.
  3. Analytical skills necessary in order to analyze all equipment, interpret gauges, consult technical manuals, and read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  4. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with all levels of Company personnel on maintenance issues.
  5. Participates in two hours of drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion training as well as other training such as first aid and forklift training.
  6. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Clean-Up Crewperson (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Candidate is responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial duties throughout the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex.  These would include, but not be limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing and waxing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Approximately three to six months related work experience in order to gain a full understanding of custodial operations.
  2. Interpersonal skills essential when interacting with Supervisor, Company staff, event staff, visitors and outside exhibitors.
  3. Physical abilities and endurance to lift and move equipment.

Ticket Seller (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a positive experience when purchasing tickets.  This experience is created by assisting guests with accurate event information and the purchase of tickets providing customer service with a smile and “can do” attitude.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Requires a level of general education normally acquired in high school in order to interact in a professional manner with patrons and employees.
  2. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously.
  3. Previous experience with computer systems and/or retail experience is preferred.
  4. Previous experience in cash handling and financial transactions preferred.

Concessions Crewperson (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsible for preparing and selling product in assigned concession stand area, greet customers, and process sales and money transactions in the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex and Resch Center.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education.
  2. Approximately three to six months previous food and beverage experience in order to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.
  3. Analytical skills needed in order to process cash.
  4. Interpersonal skills required in order to maintain positive customer relations with clients when gathering and exchanging information.

Set-Up Crewperson (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform set-up and tear down duties before and after events in the Complex such as: setting up tables, erecting hockey dashers, laying down the basketball floor, installing the ice rink, etc.

Due to the nature of the event business, hours of employment may include: evenings, weekends, holidays, and summer season.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate hand tools, and eye hand coordination to operate machinery.  Requires standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extensive periods of time.  Frequently handles and lifts, carries or pulls items weighing up to 100 pounds.  Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.  Must have a valid driver’s license.

Parking Attendant (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsibilities include, customer service, directing traffic, handling cash, implementing and following safety guidelines for patrons and employees.

Working conditions:  Frequent exposure to large crowds.  Works outside in the stadium/area-parking environment and is continually exposed to weather conditions and temperature extremes.
