Accounts Payable Specialist (Full-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and provides assistance in the areas of reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and other finance processes as deemed necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Microsoft GP and/or PaperSave experience is preferred
  • Associates degree in accounting or related field and 1-3 years of experience in accounting or office environment

Accounts Receivable Clerk (Full-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles at a level normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree in accounting.
  • A minimum of three to five years previous work experience in related field.

Administrative Coordinator (Full-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for providing administrative support and managing all functions related to venue contracts and sponsorship agreements which includes reviewing document for compliance with PMI standards and legal compliance, certificate of insurance review, procurement and filing. In addition oversees the management of the PMI Corporate office to include front office lobby area, guest interaction, office supply inventory, mail delivery, lobby and meeting and break areas as well as front door security.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal is preferred.  Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field plus five years’ experience in a responsible administrative position at the management level, or equivalent experience.
  • Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary in communicating effectively with Board Members, Company personnel, clients, or visitors when providing information either in person, e-mail or phone.
  • Requires high degree of organizational skills to deal with daily job demands and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to review contracts and understand legal terms and verbiage.  Must be able to type and edit contracts, correspondence, complex tables, forms, reports and other documents from rough drafts or insuring proper grammar and spelling.

Expo & Event Coordinator (Full-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for production of internal and external events from start to finish.  Controls and monitors the customer contact aspect of the facility operations by planning, monitoring, delegating, and managing the event coordination, crowd control, and outside contractor service functions for designated events held at the facility or designated locations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the event industry is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to act as liaison and communicate effectively with promoters/agents, and operations personnel when booking and coordinating events.  Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, timelines and positive customer relations with facility users, staff and the general public when preparing and supervising events.
  • Extensive knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office Suite.  Preferred experience with Constant Contact, ExpoCAD, Trello and Word Press.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills to deal with daily job demands and multiple tasks.  Must have ability to work with multiple deadlines and details simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to develop after-event building usage and service reports regarding facility rental trends, as well as a full understanding of facility management.
  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising and event promotion at a level normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree in communications, business administration/management or related field.
  • Availability and ability to work irregular hours as dictated by facility schedule and project timetables to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Operations Lead (part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for performing clean-up, set-up, and tear-down duties and assisting with staff supervision for events at the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex, Shopko Hall, and the Resch Center.  Serves as event coordinator, which includes opening and securing the building, supervising staff, checking the building for proper set-up, clean-up and safety.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedule dictates.
  • Knowledge of operations at a level normally acquired through industrial classes and completion of high school.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to assign work to part-time and temporary staff, resolve problems, revise show layouts to meet building codes and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of set-up and clean-up functions.

Forklift Operator (part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsibilities include forklift driving for the following facilities: Brown County Veterans Arena, Shopko Hall, Resch Center, and Lambeau Field.  Also includes implementing and following facility emergency procedures, safety guidelines and Company policies for patrons and employees.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Requires a level of general education normally acquired in high school.
  • Forklift Operators should be equipped with basic reading and writing skills with an understanding in math for estimating distances and weights.
  • Must be forklift certified by PMI Entertainment Group’s training program.

Ticket Seller (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for providing guests with a positive initial experience when purchasing tickets.  Assists guests with accurate event information and responds to questions concerning admission fees, fares, schedules, reservations, coming attractions and ticket policies.  Processes ticket sales at the box office.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience with computer systems, customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Previous experience handling cash and financial transactions.
  • Analytical ability necessary to determine the appropriate course of action when resolving customer concerns, pressures, and negative situations.

Clean-Up Crew (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial duties throughout the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex including: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing and waxing.  Cleans up spills and biohazard spills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Approximately three to six months of related work experience required in order to gain a full understanding of custodial operations.

Set-Up Crew (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for performing set-up and tear-down duties before and after events in the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex such as setting up tables, erecting hockey dashers, laying down the basketball floor, installing the ice rink, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Approximately three to six months of related work experience necessary in order to gain a full understanding of show set-up and custodial operations.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to place necessary equipment according to a floor plan.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.

T-Shirt Security (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Director of Event Services, will serve as a resource to patrons and perform security-related activities to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and event personnel.  Guard, patrol or monitor hallways, parking lots or other assigned areas to prevent infraction of rules.  Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to maintain security of premise.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of law enforcement and security practices normally acquired through participation in protective services/lay enforcement technical-college program.
  • Proven verbal and written skills required to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of Company personnel, promoters/ clients and the general public.

Banquet Cook (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the preparation of food for caterings at Backstage at the Meyer.  In doing so, ensures the highest quality of presentation and preparation of food.  Also responsible for general kitchen cleaning & preparation duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of six months experience in a production cook position in a food & beverage operation.  Must be knowledgeable in food handling and food preparation.
  • Must have proven skills in the areas of food production, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Be skilled in the operation and maintenance of a variety of food handling equipment.
  • Be knowledgeable of state and local health laws pertaining to the storage, handling and preparation of dispensing of food and beverages.
  • Be skilled in good housekeeping practices of areas where food is stored, prepared and served or dispensed.
  • Must be proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, slivers, etc.
