Design Intern (Paid, 20 hours per week)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the creative content, design and layout (including art and photography) of print marketing materials for PMI.  This includes, but is not limited to, corporate identity packages, logo development, trade and consumer ads, brochures, direct mailers, point-of-purchase, billboard, digital imaging, web ecards, presentations, and proposals.  Manages entire print process including bid solicitation through prepress and delivery.  Works directly with Marketing Manager assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Prefer a candidate with a level of education normally acquired in first or second year of college courses needed to earn a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, design or graphic arts.  Those pursuing a minor in advertising and marketing are preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations with clients, local business representatives and a variety of company personnel when developing programs and promotional material.
  • Extensive working knowledge and skill of the following are required: Adobe Creative Suite; including but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, and Acrobat.  Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing and photo manipulation technologies are needed.

Expo & Event Intern (Paid, 10-15 hours per week)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for working with the Show Department staff to plan, execute, and complete successful trade shows and expos.  In the process, they will learn essential skills required to coordinate and execute flat shows.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Requires level of general education normally acquired in high school in order to interact in a professional manner with patrons and employees.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills necessary to promptly answer and resolve questions in a professional manner with patrons as well as maintain open channels of communication with all department and supervisory personnel when providing information.
  • Analytical ability and problem solving skills necessary to determine the appropriate course of action when resolving customer concerns.

Expo & Event Coordinator (Full-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Responsible for all logical aspects of a consumer event including research, strategic planning, coordination, sales, entertainment, educational offerings, promotions, evaluation and oversight of marketing and public relations.  This position has significant contact with exhibitors, sponsors, venue staff and the general public.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work across organizations boundaries, including a broad range of peers and executives.

Concessions Crew (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage products in assigned concession stand area.  Greets customers, fills orders, and processes sales and money transactions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Approximately three to six months of previous food and beverage experience in order to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.
  • Analytical skills needed in order to process cash.

Clean-Up Crew (Part-time) – Overnights also available

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial duties throughout the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex including: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing and waxing.  Cleans up spills and biohazard spills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Approximately three to six months of related work experience required in order to gain a full understanding of custodial operations.

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for performing set-up and tear-down duties before and after events in the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex such as setting up tables, erecting hockey dashers, laying down the basketball floor, installing the ice rink, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Approximately three to six months of related work experience necessary in order to gain a full understanding of show set-up and custodial operations.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to place necessary equipment according to a floor plan.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.

Ticket Seller (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for providing guests with a positive initial experience when purchasing tickets.  Assists guests with accurate event information and responds to questions concerning admission fees, fares, schedules, reservations, coming attractions and ticket policies.  Processes ticket sales at the box office.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Requires a level of general education normally acquired in high school in order to interact in a professional manner with guests and employees.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously.
  • Previous experience with computer systems, customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Analytical ability necessary to determine the appropriate course of action when resolving customer concerns, pressures, and negative situations.
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule which will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.  Must be able to work a minimum of 3 to 4 times per month during peak season.

Lambeau Field Parking Attendant (Part-time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsibilities include customer service, directing traffic, handling cash (not everyone), and implementing and following safety guidelines for patrons and employees.

Banquet Cook (Part-Time)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the preparation of food for caterings at Backstage.  In doing so, ensures the highest quality of presentation and preparation of food.  Also responsible for general kitchen cleaning & preparation duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of six months experience in a production cook position in a food & beverage operation.  Must be knowledgeable in food handling and food preparation.
  • Must have proven skills in the areas of food production, sanitation, and presentation.
